ಇದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ತಾಲಿಬಾನ್ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಕಾನೂನು ಸಚಿವ ಅಬ್ದುಲ್ ಹಕೀಂ ಶಾರೀ, “ಶರಿಯಾ ಕಾನೂನಿನ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಪಕ್ಷಗಳಿಗೆ ಅವಕಾಶವಿಲ್ಲ. ಅಫ್ಘಾನಿಸ್ತಾನದ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಪಕ್ಷಗಳಿಗೆ ಶರಿಯಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ಆಧಾರವಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಹಿತಾಸಕ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪೂರೈಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರವು ಅವರನ್ನು ಮೆಚ್ಚುವುದಿಲ್ಲ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಪಕ್ಷಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಷೇಧಿಸುವ ನಿರ್ಧಾರವನ್ನು ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಉನ್ನತ ಮಟ್ಟದ ನಾಯಕರ ಒಪ್ಪಿಗೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ವರದಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. 2021 ರವರೆಗೆ ಅಫ್ಘಾನಿಸ್ತಾನದ ಕಾನೂನು ಸಚಿವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ 70 ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಮತ್ತು ಸಣ್ಣ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಪಕ್ಷಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಂದಾಯಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂಬುದು ಗಮನಾರ್ಹ.
