Agara Prakash Slams “Weak Leadership” at the Centre

Summary: Senior Congress leader Agara Prakash criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for lack of communication and leadership, highlighting rising prices and public struggles. He also raised concerns over weak foreign policy and the silence of opposition leaders and BJP MPs at the state level. He said people deserve accountable leadership and will continue to raise their voices for action.

Senior Congress leader, social worker, and entrepreneur Agara Prakash has expressed serious concern over the lack of strong leadership in the country. He said that at a time when people are facing many problems, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has not held even a single press conference to address public issues. According to him, this silence is worrying and reflects weakness rather than strength.

He pointed out that the rising prices of essential commodities, especially gas cylinders, are making life difficult for common people. He said that people expect the government to communicate clearly and take decisive action, but instead they are seeing silence and no proper response. He also raised concerns about the global situation, stating that tensions are increasing across the world and strong foreign policy is very important in such times. However, he said India is not showing confidence or clear direction on the global stage.

Prakash also criticized the silence of the leaders of the opposition party and BJP MP’s at the state level, saying there is no urgency, no accountability, and no serious effort to solve people’s problems. He stressed that the country needs leaders who speak openly, take responsibility, and act during difficult times, both domestically and internationally.

In conclusion, Agara Prakash said that this situation is not acceptable and that people will not remain silent. He added that they will continue to raise their voices until the government takes responsibility and takes real action.

Bengaluru | February 3, 2026

A fire broke out in a garbage dumping area next to Bharat Petrol Bunk near Ramamurthy Nagar Signal on Tuesday evening, creating panic among commuters and nearby shop owners.

The incident occurred at around 8:00 PM, and the fire was considered highly dangerous due to its close proximity to the petrol bunk. Flames and thick smoke were visible from a distance, briefly affecting traffic movement at the busy signal.

Fire and emergency services rushed to the spot immediately after receiving information and successfully brought the fire under control within a short time.

Officials confirmed that no one was harmed or injured in the incident. The timely action by the fire department prevented the fire from spreading to nearby buildings and fuel storage areas.
